Young Adult Therapy
Young adulthood is a time of great transition and uncertainty for many people. Some people come to therapy to get assistance in managing these transitions. Sometimes, people need help overcoming addictions, intimacy challenges, body image struggles, transitioning from home to college, career uncertainty, or maybe they just need someone to listen and help them process change. Therapy can be a valuable avenue to take when the daily demands of adult life get to be a bit too much to handle alone. I have found that some of the lasting benefits of therapy is when someone can feel comfortable in their own skin, can assert their needs, and can operate from a place that honors their values.
